Busy but not productive

Busy, but not productive, has sadly become one of my most commonly used phrases.

I'm seeing this more and more in the business I help.

Action being taken, campaigns being spun up, and tactics being OK's simply because it's easier than ever to get them going.

I mean, with AI, all it takes is a few clicks to...

  • Post more content
  • Launch more ads
  • Send more emails
  • Spin up more offers

And that’s kinda the problem.

Most businesses I see aren’t short on activity. You could argue they're drowning in it.

Following the latest trend or spinning something up because "maybe it'll help - it can't really hurt, right?"

But it does hurt.

Cause action without a strategy isn't progress, it's noise.

When you're trung more ads on Monday and then switching to more emails on Wednesday, nothing compounds.

You stay super busy doing all of this, but you're never really productive.

It's why so many brands are being super noisy but growth is still fragile.

The solution is simple.

Take a step back.

Think about what's going to work best for your customers and your business.

Then devise a system that will enable you to deliver that to them at scale.

Only then do you start looking at AI methods to help you implement that faster.

If you don't take that step back, you're just gonna be throwing more stuff out there and getting nothing back for your efforts.

If any of this sounds familiar and you want help identifying where things are actually breaking down, reply to this email with a brief overview of your business.

If I can help, we’ll talk this week.
