Fundamentals in practice
|
Here's a little sneak peek of something I've been building within GM+ for peeps that's based on the "fundamentals first" stuff I sent yesterday. Essentially, we all know of the need for a consistent social presence. And I will admit, I am bad at this. I don't use social media in my personal life, and I hate the idea of constantly posting everything I'm doing for a couple of views from someone I will never meet. But, that's the game. And, from the fundamental psychology point of forced familiarity, I know if people see me sharing value online consistently, they will trust me more making subsequent sales easier. So, I've had AI improve my Social Content Engine. On Sunday, I spent 10 minutes checking some of the output and then setting it live. What it created was...
The whole thing was built on some proven marketing fundamentals, such as... Forced familiarity Make sure I am seen more often to open up more opportunities and drive more leads. Repurposing existing assets None of the content is AI-generated in the sense that AI did not come up with any concepts. It simply took the video transcripts, blog posts, emails, etc I have created and reformatted my points and thoughts into proven marketing templates. Leveraging proven marketing templates The skills I built use the same proven templates and approaches to post types across platforms that I have spent years analysing, building, and improving. I never sit down and say "AI write me a social post for [platform]". It's more like "take this video script and run it through the proven templates we have for [platform]. 5 minutes later I have 7 posts ready to go. Don't spend time where you're time is not well spent Is my time, as the founder, really best spent hopping between scheduling tools to copy and paste in these templates and pick when they should be sent? Hell no. This was something you'd hire a junior VA for in the past cause, while important, it's low complexity and takes a tonne of time. Now, I just had AI build me a n8n workflow that auto-posts. The 10-minute session on Sunday sent all of the stuff over and it's now being sent out periodically without me having to get involved. ... When it comes to AI, it's honestly pretty crap at generating stuff unless you give it all of the context, templates, and enforce strict guardrails. If you don't, you end up with the generic slop we all hate. This is how AI should be built. Not to be doing things for you, but to be handling the monotonous, time-consuming, mechanical and repetitive tasks of your business. You need to focus on the bigger-picture stuff and building the strategy that AI should help implement. Now, if you're not sure on what strategy you should be implementing, or you're fed up of the BS generic responses AI is giving you for growth strategy, check out GM+ where you can get personalised help to build a strategy specific to your business, that works for today's market.
