Ii did this for years (bit embarrassing)

You're scrolling YouTube and some chap in a tight black t-shirt, sitting in the penthouse suite somewhere in Dubai tells you Meta ads are the thing that helped him buy his lambo.

He's got the case studies, the screen recordings, the confident patter. So you think, right, maybe that's what's been missing.

And. like a moth to a flame, you run to meta to set up some ads.

Nothing wrong with that instinct. It's the sensible-looking move.

Except a few weeks in, you're deep in Ads Manager trying everything to drag your CPC down and nudge your AOV up…

... Testing multiple audiences
… Running even more creative
… Tyring to get smart with bidding

… Yet sadly, nothing is moving the needle.

Cause here's the bit the YouTube guru left out.

He positioned meta ads as the only and best solution for every business. But, he doesn;t know your biz or your audience.

You might find that your audience is actually on TikTok and not Meta.

You can build the best ads in the world. If the people you want aren't there to see them, it doesn't matter.

And look, this isn't a you problem. It's the whole setup.

Every voice you listen to is selling you one tactic…

… The ad agency swears growth is an ads problem.
… The copywriter swears it's a copy problem.
… The cold outreach guy thinks you just need more emails.

The SEO guy, the funnel guy, the short-form guy, all of them dead certain their one thing is the thing.

And not one of them is thiking of the wider journey. They’re not looking at what comes before and after that one tactic, or which specific channels, messaging, and approaches are best for your audience.

What happens is a mess.

You end up collecting tactics and trying to run them all at the same time, but with no real coherence between them.

Run some ads here, spin up a funnel there, start posting on a new platform cause someone swore by it.

It feels like progress. You’re busy and stuff’s getting made.

But those Stripe notifications simply ain’t pinging.

I see this all the time. I’ve done it more than I’d like to admit.

The fact is, when you haven’t taken the time to first figure out…

… Your audience and their needs
… The channels where they hang out
… The messaging that’s gonna resonate
… What they would need to feel comfortable buying

It’s easy to get pulled off course and chanse every shiny object that comes your way.

Each tactic is a guess. And a pile of guesses that don't connect to each other isn't a growth strategy, it's just a busy week.

Your growth isn't stalled because your tactics are bad. It's stalled because nothing connects them. You don’t have a strategy where each and every action and stage is connected into one growth model.

But if you take the time to work out the right straqtegy for your business, everything flips.

Instead of ten half-built things all screaming for attention, you've got a handful you know actually matter, in an order that makes sense.

And because each one feeds the next, you can then focus on a handful of daily actions that actually contribute to revenue and profit growth.

The problem stops being "what do I try next" and turns into "right, let's just build the thing". Which is a much nicer problem to have.

That's what I've built the Growth Strategy Roadmap to give you. Your full model, mapped to your business, so you know what to focus on and what to ignore.

If you're sick of collecting tactics that don't add up, have a look at what it actually is.

→ See what the Roadmap is

Tomorrow I'll get into why doing this yourself, or handing it to an agency, usually goes sideways.
