Leverage and trust.
These are the two big lever pulls for growth in 2025.
And there’s one channel that pulls both better than anything else: email.

Let's break it down.
First of all, trust.
We're in a trust recession. Sales are harder, resistance is higher, competition is fiercer.
You've got to earn trust fast and keep it.
Social can’t do that anymore, it’s too noisy and too unpredictable.
Email’s the only channel where you own the relationship and can build trust in multiple ways:
- Build it directly through your daily messages.
- Use it to show proof, share authority, and deliver insights.
- Drive traffic to trust assets like blogs, case studies, or YouTube videos.
- Even boost social reach, a simple “go read this post” email can game the algo and flood your post with engagement helping you reach a wider audience
Most folk are too myopic in their view of email. They view it only as a way to build trust within the email.
When really, it can shape traffic to other assets to supercharge trust faster than anyone else in the game.
But what about leverage?
It takes the same amount of time to craft an email for 10 people as it does for 10,000.
Once you get good at email, you can basically bang out a message like this one in about 10 minutes.
