What happens when you copy the format
|
In my efforts to become some kind of Instagrammer, I've been throwing a tonne of content out there to see what the Algo rewards. And I've been basing a lot of it on the kind of templates and formats that are doing well. The Viral Radar tool I built for GM+ gave me a potential winner last week. I noticed a couple of posts across different niches were in line with this one. In short, they were all...
So, I came up with my own version which is breaking down the real economics behind what could be a braggadocious online financial claim. Specifically, breaking down the finances of one of my own $27 product funnels. Last year, I made $34k+ from that one $27 product alone. Sounds awesome right? But then I did the breakdown and the lesson. Essentially showing how I only really made $6,500-ish profit before software costs and tax. The lesson is, don't believe the raw claims, and also understand that a $27 product funnel is about lead gen, not making money. The money is made later (my typical ACCER Approach). So, how'd it do? Well, the tool I built to message me every morning with my social stats so I know what I should check on sent me this. Not too shabby, right? Obviously the angle and the format work. So, the next step is two-fold.
I've already got a bunch of other format types going out before the end of the month. Between the Viral Radar, my own reporting, and the Comment to DM system I built to turn engagements into leads, I'm confident this should work well over time. Tomorrow I might give you a little sneak peek behind the curtain of this all working. See you then Pete "already considering sponsored Insta posts" Boyle |
