I've advised over 450 businesses at this point in my career. And there's one problem I'veseen at every level, from the new solopreneur to the publicly listed brand. You can have a perfect growth system, but without traffic flowing into it, it's pointless. Traffic generation is where most businesses fall down (and also where most focus cause they KNOW they're deficient there). Thing is, the lack of traffic isn't always due to a lack of skill. A lot of the time it's through fear. Nobody wants to pour money into marketing and watch it disappear. So they spend timidly, or not at all, and the perfect system sits there starving while someone is making minor tweaks to ads, posts, or whatever else they use to get leads in. The fix is one metric. When you know that number, and you know how to shrink it, the fear disappears and doing things like advertising actually becomes pretty damn fun (and profitable).
