Big before small

"I WaNnA SeT Up A SelF LiQuiDaTing oFFeR PeTE"

After the $1 Product Challenge took off, I had a lot of people reach out with a message like the above.

And it's cool, and I can help you do it...

... BUT...

I often dissuade a lot of folk from doing this.

Why?

Cause for some people, it's not the right time.

Look, an SLO or $1 product has one purpose.

To get more people into your business at cost or minor profit.

It's about VOLUME of buyer leads, not about profit. A lot of the time, SLOs operate at break even.

And if you don't have a way to increase the lifetime value of these buyers, you're gonna be stuck spinning your wheels making a few bucks per person you attract.

So what should you do?

This...

I worked with one business who had a decent email list, but were generating zero revenue from it.

We could have set up an SLO and grown that list with 10-100 new people every day.

But, it would have been pointless.

They'd just be paying for a larger email list which still provided no revenue.

Basically, more people who ain't paying.

What did we do?

We built a sequence that turned those subscribers into buyers of a high ticket course. We launched it and collected 5-figures within 2 weeks.

With that mechanism created, we could then turn our focus to the front end SLO to throw more people at it.

This is the way you should be doing things.

SLOs are awesome for reach and attracting buyers at cost or minor profit.

But if you don't have a primary money making offer on the back end, it's all a bit pointless.

So you start there - with the major money maker - and work towards the front.

This way, you create a system that builds on itself.

I've sent a couple of emails recently that have lead to this page. If you've not seen it, it's a page where you can grab... A $100 consult (down from $250) A personalised ACCER build plan A training video about building more profitable models Anyway, someone messaged me and said something to the effect of... "Why are you charging for this when most people do these strategy sessions for free?" It's simple. I'll explain the full reasoning below, but from a high level it comes down to 2 things....

I love all those posts and explanations where people are like... "To make $1M / year all you need to do is make $83,000 per month, which is $19,200 per week, or $2700 per day" I mean, they're not wrong. But basic math isn't what's holding most folks back. And in fact, I find this often confuses most folk. They get all sorts of mad ideas about how to hit that $2700 and something per day. Best channel and opportunity over the next 5-years? YouTube. No question. Here's the thing, I knew next to nothing about YT... but I wanted to learn. So I did what I always do in these situations.
