12% CVR from cold traffic

Yo,

Last week inside GM+ we built custom GPTs you can sell as front-end offers.

This coming weeek, we’re building the sales pages and funnels that mean you can run ads to them.

I created my own GPT and have been running ads to it as a new front end offer.

Here’s the funnel stack...

  • Main product - $7 AI Agent (maps out a $1 product funnel)
  • Bump offer - $47 bump (the $1 Product Challenge course bundle)
  • Upsell 1 - $99/month GM+
  • Upselll 2 - $100 consult

The AoV is a little lower than I'd like (just under $40), but overall the funnel is working well.

After a week I'm getting a 12% CVR on cold traffic, and a 1.5x ROAS.

Basically made just under £500 (about $670) in the week by selling a $7 product.

When you now the right system (taught in the $1 product challenge) it's not hard to replicate this.

The reason this works and most fail with SLOs is bec ause they're missing one of these 3 core elements...

  1. The offer... last week, we covered how to build AI Agents people actually want. Good product makes all the difference.
  2. The sales material... if the page doesn’t convert, it’s dead in the water.
  3. The upsell flow... if you can’t explain why the $7 buyer should spend $99 or $100 more, you're burning ad spend.

This Monday, I’ll show you how to build the sales material that turns strangers who click on your ads into buyers spending $1–$250 without ever knowing who you are.

Speak soon,

Pete "selling cheap stuff online" Boyle

P.S. - Don't worry about joining late. All of the videos and calls are being recorded and made available within GM+.

For years, the playbook was simple… Run ads → send to a webinar → book a call → close. It worked… until it didn’t. And when it broke, it broke HARD. Here’s the reality today: The pool of “fast buyers” is almost gone. Ads cost more than ever. Call close rates have dropped as people shop around. What used to cost $50-70 to get someone on a call now costs closer to $300-500. If you’re only closing 50% of those calls, you’ve gone from a CPA of $100 to $600. Add in other costs like tools, time,...

Look, I love running low ticket offers, they get me buyers every single day. But most people make the same mistake with their lovely little self-liquidating funnel. They think it is the business. Here’s the problem… A $1 buyer is 12–56x more likely to buy again. But if you stop there, you’ve wasted the only advantage an SLO gives you. The $1 product isn’t where you make the money. It’s where you attract serious buyers and cover your costs so you can scale. It’s an acquisition engine… the way...
